Whether due to persecution from without, or our own heart’s temptation from within we’ve all been tempted in our Christian walk to “drift” from the faith. Whether we have been weary or worried, discouraged or distracted, condemned or just confused, the Book of Hebrews has something to say to us. It is not a book of self-help based on human introspection. The message of the writer does not focus on man but exclusively on Christ – and to focus on Christ in such a way that we see Him as better than anything this world would tempt us with, better than anything from our old lives we may long to return to. Jesus is better than anything. And to see Him, to focus on Him, that causes our hearts to grow and mature more into His image. Join us as we walk through the Book of Hebrews together, to see the supremacy of Christ over all things in the sermon series entitled, “Jesus Is Better”.
