Minor Prophets

The Minor Prophets are a group of 12 prophetic books in the Old Testament. The term “minor” does not refer to their lack of importance but their size (they are smaller!). The prophets were called by God to guide His covenant people into a living relationship with Himself and with others in any given situation. Though thousands of years removed from when they were first delivered, they still bring displays of God’s sovereignty, calls for holiness and faithfulness to him, and ultimately point to and provide hope for his people through his covenantal love in Jesus Christ.
